L.R., a young hard-working man,
who was never in any trouble whatsoever in his entire life, was arrested last
year by plain clothes officers for allegedly stealing a motorcycle in
Bensonhurst, Brooklyn. He was identified in a show-up as being one of the perpetrators
and charged with felony Criminal Mischief in the 3rd degree and Grand Larceny
in the 4th Degree. From the very beginning, my client maintained his
innocence. Through the diligent work of Private Investigator, John
Doherty, we were able to convince the District Attorney that they had the wrong
man. Ultimately, this clear-cut case of mistaken identity was dismissed
and sealed.
